If you want to come visit us, we are fairly easy to find.  I will try to add a map later......but we are off of Interstate I-64 in KY, exit 133.  We are halfway between Lexington, KY and Huntington, WVCall for more specific directions if you want to come for a visit.

Our address is:151 Keeneland Dr, Morehead, KY  40351

I can be reached at 606-776-9126....but the most effective way to reach me is by email at:  mkcollins@keenelandcorner.com

Now, for fine print and specifics.

We expect any doe or buck we sell to be a breeder.  Should any buck over 7 months old fail to prove a breeder we must be notified within 5 months of purchase date.  We will then have 90 days to prove the buck a breeder.  We do not guarantee that semen from any buck will freeze.  Does that are suspected of being non breeders should be reported to us within 6 months of date of sale.(any doeling purchased before 6 months of age will receive an additional 3 months)  We will then have 6 months to prove said doe a breeder.  No doe that is purchased bred is guaranteed to deliver live kids.  If any animals are subjected to hormonal or surgical reproductive procedures after sale, this guarantee is null and void.

Basically...if there is a problem...let us know asap.  Keeping an animal for over 12 months and never mentioning a problem is, in itself, is a problem.  After that amount of time has elapsed it is hard to determine the cause of any reproductive issues.  In the case a doe or buck is proved to be a non-breeder, within the terms of this guarantee, we will refund your purchase price.

A basic health certificate will be provided for animals requiring transport.  Any additional tests are not included in price...but this may be negotiated.

All transport fees are responsibility of the purchaser.  We are not responsible for obtaining transport, but will do our best to help in any way we can.  Any animal remaining on our farm for a) more than 60 days after purchase/deposit for an adult or b) more than 60 days after weaning date for a kid purchased prior to weaning, will incur a $2 per day care fee. (this may also be negoitiated at time of purchase)

We have shipped goats all over the United States and have used several methods.  The quickest form of transport is by air, but they will only take smaller animals and have several restrictions that make it hard to ship in the summer (due to the heat) or the winter (due to the cold).  We did recieve one buck this way and he handled the whole thing without a problem.
We recently used Russ Edgar for transport for the first time and were pleased with his service.  He has a nice trailer and we would not hesitate to use him again.  Our farm is a few hours south of Russ's 'home port' so it shouldn't be to hard to arrange pickup for animals going south or southwest.
Most often, we have used Ron Keener for transport.  Ron provided transport from Texas to us for the first colored buck we purchased over 6 years ago.  He has transported everything from 4 month old kids to bred adult does both to us and from us.  Never have I had a complaint about his service or the condition of animals he has brought us.  The latest set of does came to us from Elise at White House Goats in Washington State.....16 days on the trailer and no problems.  In addition to unloading our animals, I did get a chance to take a peek at all the other animals on this trailer this trip.  All were equally comfortable and well cared for.  Ron runs several cross country trips a year and also offers a more direct 'limo' service if needed.
Of course, if we are going to be near you, or know someone headed your direction, we will do our best to help set up delivery this way.
